Terms of service.
You are probably reading this because you are booking a consultation and we’ve asked you to read and agree to them before booking. If that is the case, please read these Terms thoroughly to ensure you are happy to book a consultation with us.
We deliver holistic nutrition support for babies and toddlers.
The practitioner delivering your consultation is a certified nutrition consultant, currently Isabelle. Where we feel it is appropriate for Jess to sit in on a consultation as part of her training and knowledge acquisition we will seek your permission first in writing (usually via email).
The recommendations we provide to you as part of the consultation process are based on you sharing relevant information about your child to enable us to make those full informed recommendations. Our recommendations may change in line with updated research and evidence but any recommendations made to you are done so in line with current research at the time of the consultation or other communication with you.
The recommendations we make are not for medical diagnosis, treatment or prescribing of medicine. The services that Wild Hearts Nutrition provide are recognised as complementary to medical advice and where appropriate we might recommend you consult your healthcare provider for further advice and support.
Through our intake form(s) and consultation process we seek to understand the underlying issues faced by your child as well as your concerns as a parent in order to provide tailored nutrition advice and lifestyle recommendations (where appropriate) to support your child.
We offer a range of consultations depending on your individual concerns relating to your child and their age. If you are unsure which consultation to choose, you may book an initial Discovery Call which is free of charge so that we can help you to choose a consultation which is best suited to you and your child.
We may make supplement recommendations for your child. Please note that the cost of any supplements recommended is a cost borne by you and separate to the consultation and that Wild Hearts Nutrition Ltd will not pay for supplements recommended to you as part of the consultation process.
Consultations will take place via Google Hangouts video call unless indicated otherwise. If you wish to have an in-person consultation, please ask at the time of booking but please note that this may incur an additional charge.
Where your package of choice includes weekly support via text, WhatsApp or email, this is predominantly for small questions and queries. Anything that involves a long list of questions or sharing a significant amount of personal information should be reserved for consultations or check-ins. You can expect a response time on texts, WhatsApps or emails of up to 48 hours, though we will endeavour to get back to you sooner. A reason for more extended delays in response time may be to do with extenuating circumstances, leave or illness which will be communicated to you where possible.
Recording consultations using any form of electronic media is not permitted for either party without the written permission by both the practitioner and you the client.
Please note that if your queries and concerns take more time than the allocated consultation, you may be charged at an additional rate to reflect this. This will be communicated to you by your practitioner during the consultation. Where possible the practitioner will endeavour to cover all of your concerns during the allotted consultation time but if you share additional concerns not included in the health intake form for example, this may make the consultation longer and as a result may incur an additional charge.
Our goal is to provide quality care to all clients. When you book an appointment, you are holding a space in our calendar that is no longer available to other clients. In order to be respectful and fair to others, please cancel as soon as you know you cannot make your appointment.
You may cancel your initial appointment up to 48 hours in advance for a full refund or to reschedule the appointment at no additional cost. Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance will not be eligible for a refund and will incur a 50% deposit charge. Missed appointments will also incur a 50% charge.
If you book an online consultation it is your responsibility to have a working internet connection. If your internet connection is not working the consultation can take place over the telephone though we highly recommend video call so we can get to know you. It is not possible to re-book consultations due to poor internet connection.
Making recommendations regarding known or suspected allergies is outside of our scope of practice.
The effectiveness of our consultations is largely determined by the commitment you make towards implementing any recommendations we make regarding your child's eating or lifestyle and we will go above and beyond to make sustainable and accessible recommendations in line with your personal circumstances.
You will be given the option to pay in full at the time of booking, or to pay 50% of the consultation charge prior to booking, as a deposit, in which case you will be charged for the remaining 50% after the consultation has taken place.
If you have any concerns or queries following the consultation, please outline these to us via email at hello@wildheartsnutrition.com where we hope to be able to deal with those concerns in a fair manner.
Wild Hearts Nutrition Limited excludes liability for any injury, illness or loss caused in part or in whole by any negligence on its part or as a result of you, the client, implementing any or all of the recommendations made by Wild Hearts Nutrition Limited.
